Breeding ball pythons?
Hey i;'m gonna get a mating pair soon from a this breeder anyways i want to get them to mate. what do i do? like do i just put them togther and let nature take its course? or do i have do special stuff with the heating and lighting? oh and how old do they have to be so they are sexualy mature? does it matter if the male is older than the female?

You have to research research research. Buy books.
The Ball Python Manual by Philippe de Vosjoli is a start.

No problem. You pick up both those books and you'll learn A LOT about both corns and Ball Pythons!
And besides, they have really super pictures in them! *L*

Females should be no less than 1400g, preferrably more, before being bred, and should not be off feed. Males can sometimes breed around 3ft. I agree, read the books

The breeding season for me ends on April 1st.....that is when I warm everyone up. This season is basically over.......best to put weight on the female in preparation for next year.

You can propbalbly sell one thats eating for about 100-150 dollars

Ball pythons have to be around 3 years old and you have to do nothing, just put them together and they will do their thing.

I believe they do indeed need cooling Burmies, but I may be wrong. All the info I have ever read of heard about breeding Ball Pythons talks about cooling.
I haven't bred them before though and I own only one. So like I said I may be wrong. Have you bred them without cooling?
