A few emmie pics

One of the babies i produced last season..all of them were green at birth except this one.

This is the mother of the young, still puting weight back on in this photo.

LTC female emmie..this girl is up for breeding this coming season.

Most times i usually just free handle, but this girl is the nastiest of the nasty.

Hope you like!

Not quite sure why the color variation happens, but i have seen green, orange and red babies born..same thing with Green Tree Pythons..They to can have numerous color variations born in a single clutch..reguardless of the color at birth, all emmies will eventually atain the the green coloration of adulthood. At least that is the norm.

Nice pics. !! Especially the orange one...wow!!
It looks like your enclosures have bottoms that pull out. Is that so? I'd like to do that with mine when I get them made.

here is a closer pic of how they look,The trays are custom molded to fit each enclosure, and slide in and out quite easily.
lol....however having plants in the enclosures sort of defeats the pourpose, but still saves the botom of the cage ...no problems yet,and ive had them for a long time.

Both females are coming along nicely...I'm expecting the first litter in a month or so. Should be fun to see all those neonates!
