I believe you're keeping the snake in an exoterra with a screen top? And controlling the temperature with a dimmer? You can probably use just about any incandescent flood bulb around 40 watts or so. Make sure to get a flood lamp and not a spot lamp.
You could go halogen or zenon as well, just stick to lower wattage bulbs and make sure the manufacturer says they're dimmable.
If you're looking for reptile-specific bulbs, Arcadia makes some good ones (or at least they used to).
