Greetings from TX

Hi - just joined. Have been using this site for past few months getting ideas to complete new enclosure for my sons boa. I hope to confirm I have a BCI vs BCC (also learned this recently) and learning how to improve my boas environment. I have owned boas for 20 yrs (only 1 at a time), sand boas, and even housed western diamondback rattlesnake and copperheads native TO MY BACKYARD. I let them go, but I did have a 6 ft rattler kill my golden retriever when we first moved in around 2002. That snake did not survive his mistake, but he was just being a snake after my dog tangled with it. Anyway, have always enjoyed snakes and how unique and beneficial they are.

Re: Greetings from TX

Greetings! Just a quick note that Boa constrictor and Boa imperator are now separate, so you can say BC and BI now.
