How much moisture is enough?

In addition to a water bowl, how often should the terrarium for my red-tailed boa be sprayed with water, and how much?

There's one one right answer. You'll need to use a hygrometer to get accurate readings if what the humidity inside the enclosure actually is.

Then make adjustments with substrate, air flow, water bowl size, etc...and mist accordingly as needed.

There are too many variables for there to be a "one size fits all" answer.

It's also important to understand that moisture and humidity are not the same. You don't want moist or damp substrate, that will lead to scale rot and other illnesses.

Re: How much moisture is enough?

I hardly ever mist my boa enclosures. I may do it on occasion if I see one prepping to shed or if I just decide to make it rain for them. I have a BI and a BO though. I'm not sure if the BC critters need higher humidity.
