None in South Dakota unless you want to collect local (non-endangered) specimens. Then you need a fishing license, of all things.
Notable exception: The city of Sioux Falls prohibits constricting snakes over 6 feet.
In my little podunk ranching town there is a blanket restriction on "dangerous animals" covering everything from bears to venomous snakes in city limits. If I wanted to keep hots I could do it on my property just north of town though as that's an unincorporated area.
Always check both city and county ordinances. A snake may be legal in your state but prohibited by your county, city... or even HOA or housing complex, come to think of it.
