need some tips on feeding

hey guys

i have a question i have a cali kingsnake which is around 1 meter and 50 cm
and i have a question about feeding. my snake was not eating. last week she ate again two small rats. this week she went into shed and was not eating. but because she was not eating for 6 weeks she losed weight. i normally feed her a middsle sized rat. shall i still feed her the same size rat. and does anyone has general tips about feeding.

she shed today it was a beatifull shed that means she is healthy right?
