Help strange behavior in red tail boa?

My red tail boa has had weird body positioning ever since I got her almost a year ago. Recently her resting position has been her front portion of her body lifted and hoveringa couple inches high in an a curve position. No active aggression or other odd behavior though. She also lifts her whole body straight up into the air and falls backwards and hovers in the air upside down. I've taken her to the vet no respiratoryinfactions or anything. Does anyone have a clue why she does this?

Re: Help strange behavior in red tail boa?

This is normal behavior for boas. Just her testing her boundaries, and getting a good look-see.

Re: Help strange behavior in red tail boa?

Maybe that's how they got their name...

"Found a new snake, but it was so weird, man, it was like going all up with its body in the shape of a bow, it then opened his mouth like it was going to say AAAA.. so weird!"

HEADLINE: New snake found in place you have never heard about doing a Bow-A
