I'd catch up on some in depth reading, for now don't worry. Its perfectly normal for the eyes to turn clear again before the actual shed.

Have you prepared for the coming shed? Raised humidity or offered a humid hide?

What is your humidity like now? How do you measure it? And I asume you do not have a humid hide? What bedding do you use? And not trying to be mean, but I really advise you to do some reading on care for your animal. This is pretty basic stuff you actually should know before getting a snake.

Don't worry about humidity anymore when snake is in this part of the shed cycle. The skin is already separated by fluid (hence it turned clear again) and any external fluit won't be able to penetrate. Just let it go and don't panic... it's perfectly normal.

This ^^^^

I would still raise the humidity by 10% or so to help the shed come off clean and full...if you have a misting bottle--and you should!--mist the walls of the cage morning and night before you go to bed.

I neglected to do this with my Boa the other day and it ended up with stuck shed. All my other snakes, the ones I did mist, they came out full...eye caps and all!

Yea, but this is a Cali king, so unless you keep it dessert dry (which you shouldn't) it should be just fine.

Young ones (sub 1 year) have more shedding issues because people keep them like adults in a pretty low humidity environment. They need a bit more humidity to shed well.
