Morphs

Do any ball python morphs act differently than one another?

I was wondering if all ball pythons behave the same, or if different morphs have different behaviors- such as, are some more docile than others?

Re: Morphs

Colour mutations are just that and nothing more.

No. Colour doesn't change that sort of thing really.

Re: Morphs

Some morphs do display (to a lesser poor greater extent) neurological issues that can lead to head wobbles, balance issues etc (the spider gene for example) which may be interpreted as behavioural differences but that's as far as it goes.

Different morphs don't display more or less aggression for example.

Re: Morphs

I have a normal and a banana spider. My banana has a minor head wobble that runs in the spider genes, but not so extreme as to cause him major issues. He can still eat, explore, etc just fine. As far as behavior/attitude, they both are docile and handleable and great feeders.
