Presentation Points

Hello, I am in 4-H (Horse Project) and we are required to present at least at county level. I have the opportunity to inform my fellow club members about the wonders of Boa Constrictors. I'm wondering what all I should cover? Any tips or groupings are appreciated. So far I have, not in order:

  • Scientific Group/Name
  • Size and longevity
  • Regions found
  • Habitat requirements
  • Temperament
  • Localities/Morphs
  • Clutch/litter Size

Not much too add but specific mention they're live bearing is a worthy mention as most reptiles are egg laying.

Re: Presentation Points

You could add some fun facts about boas to keep them more entertained. Like they are relatives to anaconda (everyone knows anacondas) or some celeb that own one. I known that Slash form guns n roses had one that lives 25 years

Re: Presentation Points

Thanks guys
Live bearing was going to be mentioned as I think it's a super interesting. Side "fun facts" would be a neat little feature.

Re: Presentation Points

How about some myth busting as well - snakes don't size you up etc.

I think towards the end, I'll do a "Myth or Fact?" interactive slide. That way I'm able to incorporate both without being all over the place.
