My Sand Boa, Valencia

So, I did actually get a Kenyan Sand Boa last month. And promptly found out I am highly allergic to Aspen. She is temporarily on shredded paper but I will be getting eco earth in the mail this coming week.
I also have a bag of really soft play sand (Got that for a dig box for my egg heavy Leopard Gecko to potentially lay this infertile eggs in). Would a mix of eco earth and play sand be more tunnelable then straight up eco earth?

Valencia has an incredible temperament. Doesn't even mind being held right before meal times. And she LOVES to eat!!! Usually downs her whole meal within 5 minutes or less. And looks for more.
She actually ate her first meal with me only 36 hours after I brought her home.
She loves her humid hide too. She has multiple cave options a and that is the one she always chooses. And it's so roomy right now she will probably use it her whole life.

I honestly never thought I would be a snake person honestly. I used to have a major phobia of snakes for no reason whatsoever. So glad I got myself past that!!!

Re: My Sand Boa, Valencia

Congrats

I like those natural morphs instead of those reptile equivalents of 'show dogs'

PS. EcoEarth mixed with play sand will do fine

A nice mix of eco earth and play sand would be ideal. Perhaps chuck in a bit of top soil (fertiliser / chemical free of course) as well and you'd have a great substrate.
