LGR Baby Update: G8
Malachite should have been the second Living Gems girl to deliver in 2016.
An unusual reddish girl…
…last time Malachite delivered for us she gave us this holdback:
That year she was paired with Picasso, an unusual high-contrast male. This time she was paired with Caesarion, a high-orange male who has been proven to crack the “tough” ladies:
However, Malachite has now gone *so* far past her due date – her POS was April 09 – that I’m not sure what is going on. She has been eating, except for her August meal, and her weight is steady…yet she continues to bask, look gravid, and not shed.
As always, thank you for reading,

Re: LGR Baby Update: G8
Hmm, so snakes can hold back, right? Could it just be a matter of figuring dates incorrectly?
I hope she's ok.

Re: LGR Baby Update: G8
Pregnancy in rainbows is measured on a post ovulation shed ("POS") basis. She has not shed since April.
However, positive update: as of this weekend, Malachite was looking *huge* -- snake sausage all the way. Go Mom!
