New SD reticulated python, what do you guys think?
Hey everyone, got myself a new retic. The owners couldn't care for her any-more, she was a little too much for them but i won't get into it much further. She was a bit dehydrated when she came here, her eyes were dented and her skin was dry. Her tail tip has been broken at one point but it is an old injury, other than that she is fine! Even though she was said to be aggressive, so far she seems very friendly to me. The previous owners still have other snakes, and might join us on the forum! She doesn't have a name yet, i'm a bit torn between Lyra or Misa. Anyway, as far as i figured out, she is 75% SD and 25% Dwarf (Bali yellowhead) she is 66% het albino and i'm unsure about anything else.. She's a pretty retic with intense red and yellow colouring (i'll get better pictures some day), and a full back-stripe! i love the way the stripes on her side start with dots gradually increasing in size.
Yesterday i brought her home and snapped a few pictures before i got her inside (First 3, see the dented eye).. Today i gave her a bath to rehydrate her, her eyes and skin look better now! (Rest of the pictures during the bath)

She's a rough diamond... With a bit of TLC she'll look like a whole new snake.
Do you know what local of SD she's crossed with?
