Parallel Heat Tape Question

I'm building some enclosures and I have a quick question regarding heat tape. Is is safe to put different width heat tape in a parallel circuit? Would this cause one heat tape to get hotter than the other?

I doubt it would matter. Each one will work independently of the other if they're truly parallel. You would definitely want to put them on the same thermostat.
