Trying to figure out what this is in my enclosure

This is in my GTP enclosure. There is a layer of pebble, then a few inches of organic soil, a little layer of moss and some leaf litter. I have springtails, doodlebugs <-- just added those about a week ago and some earthworms. I don't have any live plants in there.

The enclosure is a year old. A month or so ago these white spots started showing up and I don't know what they are. They are all under the soil, from just under to all the way down to the pebble level. They are mostly in the corners but there are a few spots in the center all the way around. Any idea on what this is?

Oh eww. They remind me of spider eggs.

Hmm. I can't say for sure, but could it be some type of mold or fungus? It looks like a damp environment.

its nothing dangerous and a sign that your tank works well. Its just a fungus myzell. It lives in the soil, consumes detritus and from time to time will produce mushrooms. I have it in my crested gecko terrarium as well and it looks super cool, when a mushrooms forms. notjing to worry about at all.

Actually, it would be of no concern if it happened right away after you set it up. If its happening after a year of having the enclosure set up, then its a bit of a concern. These blooms only really happen when the soil is a bit out of balance, otherwise they are generally kept in check by other soil inhabitants. It looks like your corners may be staying very wet. How often are you watering/spraying? Is the soil wet or just moist?
