Can a green anole and fish stay in the same tank

I want to put a green anole and fish in a tank known as a paludarium (an aquarium and a vivarium), but have concerns on what will happen. I was also thinking as an alternate, i could put a green tree frog if that is better. i have a 10 gallon tank and a 20 gallon tank, but would prefer the 10 gallon to house the anole and fish. the fish that will be there are tetras, unless they are not compatible

thanks in advance

The idea of both fish and anoles in a paludarium, isn't necessarily a bad thing. As long as you give both the proper husbandry they require. The issue I'm seeing is the size of the tank. A ten gallon tank is too small in my opinion to give both environment what they need to work. If you stepped up to maybe a 20 gallon, divided the floor space in half, and made on section water and the other land you would be better off. Then just add lots of leafy branches and vines for the anole to utilize all the vertical space.

Yep as IW17 said that tank is just way to small for either option. A 20 gallon or even bigger would be best. Both have been kept well in paludarium setups but anoles would be in my opinion the better choice. Just remember to have a land section alongside the water. Instead of fish you might be able to use African dwarf clawed frogs. I have seen this done but have also read that the frogs can put out toxins that can be harmful to other small animals.
