Posting Pics

Hello all, I've been having a most frustrating time trying to post pics in threads. I don't know how to resize, make an ART file into a JPEG or BTMP, or post multiple pics at the same time. I also don't know how to post pics that I've found online (there are a few I'd like to share!) Any basic and *simple* explainations would be very much appreciated. (I guess that I should also mention that at this time, I'm not particularly fond of uploading the pics into my gallery and then using a link on a thread so people can see them... I went to my last post and was dismayed that I had to go through a whole process instead of just seeing the friggin pic!!!! It's making me crazy and I think it would deter others from wanting to see my pics!) Anyways, I hope to get some good hints from you! Thanks is advance =)

You need to use a reasonable image editor to resize, change format, etc. often camera software will do this for you. (i don't know what kind of camera or pc you are using)

Another option to uploading to the photo gallery is to upload it to your isp. if the file is smaller then 25k you can attach it directly to the post.
Maybe Jeff can add a button for linking a pic in from the photo gallery or put the url of each picture underneath the pics and thumbnails.

If I typed of the needed html tp show you how to post pics then it would show up as pics, so I made this to explain it better. You can use the html string below more than once with more than one image to have 1,2, or 3 or more pictures in a post.

Thanks guys I'll try your suggestions... Maybe I'll have some pics up by tomorrow because I just bought a new cam with a macro focus. Thanks again!

It doesn't "have" to be done in HTML. There is an area on the reply feature that allows you too browse your computer and attach one appropriatly sized file.

But if your photos are online, the above HTML string is by no means complicated, and you can post more than one photo in a message. All thats needed is the string I gave example of below (under that part that says "you can use this string") and the image's location (also called "url" or "source") and bam photos are in place.
