Crotalus m. Pyrrhus (not the white locale everyone likes haha)

Hard to tell in this lighting but it's actually purple-ish brown with pink splotches/bands.

And a cellphone pic:

She's finally in winter mode and refusing to eat, wasn't sure if she was gonna do that or not cause she was a vigorous eater up until about 2-3 weeks ago.

Nice-looking snake! Time to turn off the heat and let her brumate until the Spring.

That's on the list for this weekend. How old are the ones you are getting?

Very nice. I used to keep a blue and a red speck. Awesome snakes to work with.

Beautiful Speck. I'm still a sucker for the whites though.

How's the temperament of Specks compared to other Crotes? I'm planning on acquiring one this year but don't have first hand handling experience with them. My C. Molossus is very chill and has never taken a hack at me, only rattled to let me know she's there (rarely does that now). Speck temperament more on the Mellow Molossus side or more on the angry kill mode that C. Tigeris, C. Scutulatus, and most C. Atrox are on?
