Re: Herping blues
I am, although this past week the sun was warm in the afternoon here in south Texas and a number of species were seen at work and in my back yard. Took the edge off, so to speak.

Re: Herping blues
We don't have any reptiles around here, not even lizards tbh.. Have to drive quite a bit to have a small chance at finding anything at all (and then it's still hard).. I'm so envious..

Yeah we've been going through a really cool fall down here in AZ, so all the reptiles packed up for hibernation a while ago. Haven't really tried looking around too much just because it's been so cool but I'm sure there's stuff out there.

That's horrible, I remember I felt like that when I lived in the Pacific NW.

Re: Herping blues
I got the winter blues aswell. I'm in denial that the seasons over but I need to accept it
I'm in North Carolina so the salamanders are still going decently. Went out last weekend, we've had some abnormally warm weather recently, found tons of sallys, a heap of tin to lay out, and a huge woodland vernal. Going out again Saturday.

Re: Herping blues
I can't complain here in Louisiana. It's still hitting 70 degrees almost every day. I had been busy from November to about two weeks ago and couldn't go herping, so I was definitely have that itch. I went today and it was about 70 degrees and rainy. Still found about 30 snakes (5 species), plenty of anoles and ground skinks, and a couple gators as well. I'll post pictures soon.
