At what age do sand boas start to calm down when being handled?

I have a 6 month old indian sunset and granted I've only had him a few weeks but he's still really nervous when I hold him -- he musked me last night. I was just curious at what age sand boas tend to start calming a bit and being more open to handling?

Thanks!

I found they tend to either be really easy to handle or stupid crazy. If you did regular handling then you should be okay going with the easy to handle. Left to their own devices they tend to swing on the extreme levels.

Just give him more time to get to know you. With more handling he'll calm down. With my dad's eryx johnii I took him out and let him explore a large blanket in my lap while I watched TV. That way he always had a place to hide while I could still hold him. In a few days he was tame as tame could be.
