A drama from the 70s was on TV the other day. A mom and her two kids were lost in the wilderness and they encounter many unpleasant things. They find a spring and sit down to take a breather. Then the kids shout in fear, "A snake!" There was a cute little Kingsnake right next to mom. What happened next shocked me.
Mom smiled lovingly at the snake and said, "Oh that's just a Kingsnake. He's harmless. He's a good snake! He eats rattlesnakes." Then she picked up the Kingsnake and invited the kids to hold him.
