Snail Eating Snake

Saw one at the Hamburg show, relatively long and skinny little critter. Really should start taking the camera with me, lol. Never heard of them before, so I googled it when I got home. Struck me as an interesting oddball, but how would you feed one through the winter? Somehow I don't think farming land snails like mice or rats would be a practical method?

Re: Snail Eating Snake

It's hard to get starter snail cultures for land snails because you need a permit for interstate shipment. The permits have been given out before to herp keepers to breed but you'll have to fill out the form otherwise you'll have to collect them to start your culture.
