Do snakes get cut while swallowing sharp objects?

This is a subject I don't think I've ever seen a proper answer to. Snakes eat all kinds of gnarly things, like beaks, claws horns and hooves, yet they rarely seem to suffer any consequences. In most cases, I imagine that swallowing the prey head first reduces the chances of any accidental cuts. But with something as sharp as a rodent claw or bird beak, it wouldn't take much. So, do they rarely get cut while swallowing? Or is it a regular occurrence that they've evolved to deal with?
