peed on me
hey peeps im a new smake owner got a ball python had him a week now have handled him last night he peed on me while holding him why is that and they fed him saturday i tryed this past saturday nd he did not eat was goun to try again today or should i wait till saturday to keep him on this day

Well you got peed on your half way to being a herper. Now you just have to get bit.

In all my years of keeping Carpets i only been bit twice. My buddies call me the Carpet Whisper. lol

I've been peed on... twice. However, there was more.. waaaay more than just pee! Luckily its my baby argentine boa Abbadon so it wasn't a whole lap full. Although it sure felt like it.
Thats the last time I'm taking her next door to show the neighbors....
The day I got my Argentines the male struck at my face twice but didnt reach so an attempt was made but no bites. Otherwise no other attempts and no bites.

I'm pushing 12 months from my retics. Hell even my two carpets haven't offered lately. Although they've always been extremely mellow IJs. I've had to dodge the dwarf burm and the Aussie water python a few times though.

haha being peed on is only the first step. Sounds like you're at the second step now, at least with Ball Pythons, refusing food. BPs can be very picky sometimes, so you may need to get use to them skipping a meal, or two. I offer food every week, same day, if they don't take it, they wait till their next feeding day, which for some of the older snakes can be an additional 9-11 days. I would try feeding again on Saturday, if he doesn't take it, then wait till the next week. Just make sure you're temps and humidity is on point, and that they're being messured by a digital thermometer, and it's just a waiting game, they'll eat when they're hungry. Just keep an eye on their weight, if they start to lose weight, then we'll cross that bridge when we get to it!
