California redsided garters

So, I have found Scott's page, but was wondering if anyone knows of someone else that sells the neon redsided type. Or is he the only known breeder?

Also, as far as duet goes I know they eat worms, fish, and pinkies, but will they eat dubia roaches? Or are they even good for them?

Any other garter tips/tricks I should know?

I can't get one now, but I would love to have a little male in the future and believe in starting research early lol.

Thanks guys!

Re: California redsided garters

Is he in Canada or did you pay the shipping/boarder fees? Was 200$ for the pair, or each? Also, do you plan on breeding them?

Dubia roaches are not part of their diet. You should check out Thamnophis.com, it is a forum dedicated to Garter Snakes.

Re: California redsided garters

Awesome =)

You definitely have some beauties!

Do you keep them together all the time, or just for pics/breeding?
