Bio-active substrate cultures?

I was wondering if there was a way to buy a mixed culture of helpful inverts for my monitors bio-active substrate? I have plenty of isopods in there but would like more variety.

There is but I forget the company that sells them.

Re: Bio-active substrate cultures?

I've ordered from all of those places several times and roachcrossing is my fav as far as selection goes. All are great to work with.

Re: Bio-active substrate cultures?

I should also mention that earthworms are a great animal to add to an enclosure. Huge decomposers along with roches and maggots (Which will only show up if something is rotting heavily and).

Re: Bio-active substrate cultures?

I try earth worms but they typically just sit on top of the soil and fry :/ Even if I mix it up and make it perfect for them they are dead the next day.

Re: Bio-active substrate cultures?

What kind of earthworms did you try? How deep was your soil?

Re: Bio-active substrate cultures?

Well, I just take the worms I find outside. My soil is at least 1 1/2 ft deep in most places
