So, my beloved dingbat seems to have hurt himself mildly wedging himself up under the lid of his home. Does anyone have any good ways of closing that off so they can't get up there?
I'm pretty sure this is how he's hurt himself, as he's been caught in the act more than once. :P

Maybe lining the wedges with silicone will work. And putting things for him to climb on should also stop him from focusing on just the wedges when he wants to move around.
Silicone works. I've also glued strips of cardboard in there. I've never seen a snake get hurt from wedging into tight spaces. The injuries usually come when someone opens or closes the lid.
