Feeding Cage (please reply quickly)

I just fed my baby ball a thawed hopper, this is my second time feeding him. The first time i fed him a pinky mouse but i fed him in his cage. This time i put him in a Tupperware container and fed him in there. How long until i can put him back into the cage??

He struck about 10/15 minutes ago and has not full stomached the mouse.

Re: Feeding Cage (please reply quickly)

Josh...give him about an hour or so after it has fully consumed the prey, and only then, very gently. It'll need the heat from its regular cage to aid in digestion. Do yourself a favor, don't feed in a separate container. There is absolutely zero benefit from it. There are multiple threads on here about this. Do a search. None of them recommend it. Just plain goofy husbandry.

completely agree. thought it would be a better habit but as I've been researching, its an inconvenient and unnecessary thing to do. now I'm sitting here waiting so i can go to bed. lol thanks for the quick answer back
