Re: Aspen for ATB

I'm sure most will say not to use it, because it is to dry and will mold if it gets wet. I have used it with my ATBs for years and never had any issues with it.

Re: Aspen for ATB

i stopped using Aspen for my Carpet Pythons due to its high dust content,Aspen caused mild Respritory symptoms to mine and other Carpet keepers i know

i don't know what like your is re dust ?

also i im reading correctly, its going into a humid tank,so dust should not be an issue

cheers shaun

Re: Aspen for ATB

I've used it in other humid-loving species enclosures and like Jerry said, it molds easily but it's also cheap and easily replaced. I would use cypress honestly but aspen will work.
