Survey Thread - Best Beginner Turtle/Tortoise

Just shoot from the hip; you don't have to give a lengthy, essay-style answer.

What do you think makes the best beginner turtle/tortoise and why?

NOTE: if you want to give a different one for aquatic turtles and terrestrial species, feel free.

Greek tortoise for terrrestrial, so easy to care for provided you can set up an outdoor enclosure.

Terrestrial by far are the easiest. Even small aquatics produce a lot of waste and require constant care.
