went herping fri trip was a trip to and from hell every thing that could go wrong did. the weather could have been better .tried to drive to warmer weather no luck the farther s and w we went the worse drove over 800 mi only saw one snake . the only good thing was had a great herping buddy that I meet here. thanks Steve here to better trips .

Don, At least we didn't get skunked! We will be prepared next time! We were very lucky for sure! It's great hanging out with folks that love herping and that have years of experience! Good times!

lol when I read that title and the opening sentence I was afraid somebody got bit or something. Definitely frustrating to invest that kind of time and come up empty though. Hopefully you'll have better luck next time. What snake did y'all see?
