Moved my newest little one into a 4x2x2 PVC enclosure and I can't for the life of me get the ambient temp up to par what can I try? I have 2 uth and a light. All on a tstat but my thermometers both read 74 constantly... Any ideas?
Radiant heat panels are awesome for ambient temps. You can also try further insulating the enclosure by wrapping it with a blanket, I used to wrap my racks until I started heating my snake room. Obliviously be careful the blanket doesn't touch the light or any other fire hazard.
Thanks fwk I'll give it a shot...I'm getting a radiant heat panel soon but I need something in the mean time...my last enclosure stayed at 88 with the same setup but it was half the size...she seems OK she's not staying on the hot side so I'll try the blanket and see if that will get me closer to the 80s
