ackies
Hey! I'm trying to get my first trio of red or yellow (love em both) ackie monitors, I understand there are usually waiting lists, but I haven't had any luck finding someones list to get on yet. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks for reading!

Re: ackies
I have a waiting list but should be hatching lots this year. Several of the big name monitor breeders are on my waiting list
If you have any questions on housing, card etc then hit me up and I'll help you out.

Re: ackies
Gatorhunter - could I get on your waiting list for a red ackie? My wife and I are interested in acquiring one and we don't mind waiting for a quality animal.

Re: ackies
+1 for Gatorhunter, out of all the breeders I contacted on forums and Facebook, only him and RareEarth responded back.

Re: ackies
A question from a curious Aussie: what do ackies sell for in the US?

Re: ackies
250-500 typically. Reds are more expensive.

Re: ackies
Wow. Here you can pay up to 300 for an ackie. Never really paid attention if reds are more expensive, but we have one red, and only paid 250 for him. Our other three we purchased from another keeper as a trio, and paid 400 for them. Australian currency of course.

Re: ackies
Red ackie demand is going through the roof. I have heard of 300-1000 for babies to juvies and pairs going for $2500-3500.
Morgan7- contact rareearth. Brandon is an awesome guy. My list is to long and I wouldn't feel right suggesting you wait. I'm open to answer questions and help out. I should be hatching at least another 30 this year so maybe someone will back out

Re: ackies
Very cool, a few days sooner and I would have bought three, but I need to get started on more enclosures.
