Newby from Tennessee
Hi, I've recently acquired my first snakes - a female Okeetee cornsnake (Isis) and a male Thayer's kingsnake (Ra). Isis has a 40 gallon bioactive terrarium but Ra is currently in a more traditional setup, a 20 gallon tank with aspen substrate. I want to move him to a bioactive tank too once we can create room for a larger tank. I'm looking forward to meeting other herp enthusiasts here and learn from all of you with more experience than me.
Karen

Re: Newby from Tennessee
infernalis, I love bioactive too! All my geckos have live planted terrariums and I really enjoy watching their natural behaviors. I suspect this is the first time my corn Isis can ever been able to burrow into substrate and she has already rearranged the cork rounds in her tank and created a network of tunnels!
Knox, good to meet a fellow Tennessean, although I am actually a Brit! I moved here 4 1/2 years back and love it!
Thank you Charis and Steve - I will posts photos soon.
jpsteele80, Karighan, EL-Ziggy, Kyle, Pirarucu, Trent, - thank you all for your warm welcomes!
A quick question - how and where do I create my signature?
