Re: My not so little one
Beautiful snake! I loved the colors on that morp. I wish they looked like that when I caught them as a kid.

Re: My not so little one
thanks! same here! I have been catching garters, red belly racers, etc, since i was really little...and never had seen one like this, so i just had to have her when i saw her has been an awesome snake with the exception of scaring me a bit when she went off mice for a while...she downed a hopper a few days ago, and it barely made a bump...LOL

Re: My not so little one
awesome looking pattern and colours. The only kind of garter snake I've ever really seen in person are Butler's Garter snakes. I used to catch them all the time when I was little.

Lol mine always burrows in the same spot and stick her head out and just watch everything, it's funny cause when you walk by, she will shoot her little head back into her tunnel haha mine is getting bumped up to 2 pinkies today, and soon she will be on fuzzies

Re: My not so little one
She was burrowed for the longest time..also only had her head poking out...but for the last 2 weeks she is constantly above ground. Never in her hide either...as soon as I open her lid she stands up to see if I have food. Lol

The eastern garter I'm currently keeping over winter always does that, always active and hoping I have food when I walk in the room lol
