Anyone got an Argentine?
Does anyone have an Argentine (Boa constrictor occidentalis?)
If so, would love to see pics and hear about how they are to keep!

Well, I don't have them right now but I have a pair of neos arriving in the mail tomorrow!! Courtesy of Manny Frade of Perfect Predators.
The youtube user 1softkiss has a couple big ones, you could check that out for some good insight.
This is a picture of the 2 coming to me. Keep a look out for more pictures!

I would be very interested in seeing if they look anything like the picture. He has a reputation for misrepresentation....

Yeah I like the look of them. Really unique snakes. Never seen one in person. Would love to own one eventually. Maybe when I'm rich with my own house.

Re: Anyone got an Argentine?
I have a female that's about 4 years old and about 6.5 ft now. This pic is from about a year ago. I'd take a new pic but she just ate the other day.

She is beautiful! I would love to see an updated picture. Once she's digested that meal of course.

Re: Anyone got an Argentine?
I'm really starting to dig these. My initial reaction to these throughout the years was that they lacked color and we're boring. But now I'm realizing I was sooooooooooooo wrong and theyre gorgeous! Their pattern is just stunning. Like weathered stone at the mayan ruins. Beautiful.

Re: Anyone got an Argentine?
What's really cool is how they get darker with age. First time I saw a picture of one it was a adult. Almost completely black with white speckles it was just stunning. I been in love with them ever since.

Re: Anyone got an Argentine?
I really like your Male. The black is just awesome. Were they the same color as juveniles, or was the female always more brown?
