looking into a basilisk

So I've been doing some research and keep finding 4x2x3 as a general enclosure size. I know these are high energy animals and can poentially hit 3'. The size suggested seems small to me I do plan on going with a 4x3x4 but I just want to be sure this would be an appropriate size. Any input on cage size or other tips would be amazing. Again I'm still just in the research stage and probably wouldn't pick one up until at the earliest june so that I can have a set up built and running.

I would go add big add you can financially/spacially. Granted most of that length is tail, but imagine how cool an 8 ft long, wall enclosure would look! Tip my knowledge they don't need tip I, add long as they're not reproductive females, so your enclosure doesn't have tip be that heavy either. N.

Hahaha sorry I got a new os on my phone and am still getting used to it. ..
I was under the impression that they don't require a ton of substrate (as a monitor would), so as long as you can maintain a high humidity your enclosure could be fairly light weight, you won't need 1000 lbs of dirt

i agree an 8 ft wall would be wicked, i think the wife would kill me though. as far as dirt goes you're correct in that i wont need a lot of it, everything ive found so far has said cypress or reptibark, i would like to give it some climbing space though make sure it could really stretch out.
