"refreezing" F/T mice

There have been occasions where I've thawed out a couple of mice for one of my snakes and they are not in the mood to eat. Usually, I am able to offer them to my larger female Honduran who can be a bit of a garbage disposal, but since she's eating larger mice, she's usually full up. My question is do any of you re-freeze the mice to thaw out and feed at a later date? When this has happened in the past, I toss the uneaten mice out, but I was just wondering if this is necessary.

I've actually put mice that haven't been eaten or touched in a ziplock bag, and put them in the fridge for the next day, but I've never refrozen them to use later than the next day.

I treat their food like my own, i would never refreeze a steak and eat it later.....

I will refreeze once and have many times. I have even refrozen a rabbit. Never ever had any issue. I would toss it over a second refreeze. Not saying this is what is best but I do it if needed.

Now to everyone's surprise. I've worked at a ware house were we packed trucks with frozen food for shipping to the stores. Pallets of frozen foods were taken out and left on the dock all night as we loaded trucks and then put back into the freezers. Your frozen foods that you buy at the store, most likely have been thawed out and refrozen many times before you bought it. And working at a pet store, I have seen the frozen rodents come in thawed and thrown into the freezer to be refrozen for you to purchase.

That explains why they are always stuck together when I have to buy them at my stupid local petco.....
