A little off topic from the Original Question......Tell us about your set-up(?)
Would you consider sharing details (and pictures) about your enclosures, how you control heat, how you control RH, do you monitor RH% in the room you keep them in, etc, etc...?
I'm probably not too far from you and know that with the current cold we are having my house is now between 35%-39%. (furnace coming on, etc). Dry as F**k. So I keep my snake room at 45%-48%, and spray each enclosure to ensure everyone is happy.
I'm wondering if, perhaps, your RH% has dropped drastically in your snake room / entire house and as a result you the RH% in your enclosures goes up and down enough to stress the animals. (I.e.-the house might be sucking the moisture out of the enclosures rapidly every day)
(We have tons of animals and almost all still pound rats like a shortage is coming...)
Just a thought.
There is great knowledge here and everyone is happy to help if a tweak is needed.
(Otherwise +1 for Kingsnake)
