This is an awesome Halloween...

My female pure kalatoa SD from Travis Kubes just showed up and she's tiny, she hatched on 6/23/13. I couldnt get a good pic(crappy iphone camera) but when shes had time to settle in I'll try and get some. I cant wait to watch her grow, she's so tiny compared to my jampea when I got her. I'll be getting my male next month(assuming the weather allows), he's an unrelated hatchling from around the same time. As for Travis, everything involved with ordering from him was great; Customer service, packaging, everything. I would highly recomend him.

Nice! I have a 50% SD, he is putting on decent size, but nothing like my 2 Jamps.

My female jamp is up to about 8 feet now, how big are your jampea? Travis said his kalatoa females usually top out around 7-7.5 feet; I'm hoping she's on the bigger side, funny as that may seem for a SD. Now I just can wait for my little male, and not to long after that my jampea male.

Female and male jamp around 600 gms empty. I'm guessing in the 3-4 ft range? They're pretty much babies (early 2013). The SD male is now right at 420 gms empty. He was a mid 2013.

Are they pure jampea? I wasn't sure if VE bred pure jampea. I've been meaning to get pics up of my female, but always seem to put it off. I'd love to see pics. I feel the jamps are overlooked a lot when people are searching for dwarves cause of all the 16foot jampea horror stories. But ill be really surprised if mine ends up bigger then 12 feet.

Re: This is an awesome Halloween...

Thanks for the kind words everybody, she's settling in nicely and has taken her first meal for me. She appears to be going into shed, so it'll still be a few days before I bother her for pics. I still can't get over how small she is. She the tiniest little retic I've seen and she's 4 months old. I can't wait to have some of these in the incubator in 3 years or so. Retics have truly become my favorite snakes.

Are they normals or a morph? I'd like to get a 50% jamp or kalatoa morph female in the future, just not sure what I'd want. I like the looks of the super sunfires.
