Carpet Python not eating

Hi Guys,
I havnt had my Python go this long before with out eating...
Im down is Ausie land where the temps are quite warm now,,, 27 to 37 during the days. Its now the middle of October and my slithery friend hasnt eaten since early June. It shed its skin in early September and hasnt been interesrted at all in all my attempts at providing food either thawed rats and mice or live mice even... Just a bit concerned. Any ideas??

I take it you've tried feeding at night ?.......Even with the lights out ?
Is it coming into breeding season down your way?

Re: Carpet Python not eating

Breeding season shouldnt affect the feeding of these pythons.. Night feeds didnt work so i gave that up.
It seems to be scared of the live mice and not at all interested in the thawed ones..
Ill stop with the thawed mice and stick to reintroducing the live ones as im not wasting expensive food this way.
Ive been taking it out and letting it have a bit of an explore in the yard a few times lately too.. Not sure if that is having an affect.
