Cool Monitor Lizard Decomposition

WARNING: Do not watch if you are squeamish.

This video is fairly gross, but scientifically it's very interesting.

Never thought I would say I'm thankful for flies, but imagine if they didn't exist. We would have dead animals lying around everywhere if it weren't for maggots.

Cool. I had no idea maggots did most of the work. I wonder what breaks them down underground though.
