Hi just wondering whether this is normal activity before shedding or if something is wrong with my snake. Iv had him for 2 weeks and he has not shed while with me and I dont know the last he had before then. His skin looks krinkly and he keeps on rubbing his head on everything, his hiding structure, the wood chips, etc. I fed him 2 days ago. He has not looked or acted like this until today. He does have a water bowl that is big enough for him but i have never seen him in it. thanks i took a picture and tried to take a video of what he was doing.

sounds like he may be about to shed mate

they usually start by rubbing the front of the top and bottom jaws on something, to start the shed peeling off
