Amphibian viv build?

Hey everyone, I would like some suggestions as to what kind of materials one could find that are light weight and can be used to build a vivarium for my frogs, toads, and salamander. Or where I can find the exoterra cages that have a front opening for a better price. I have been itching to make my own custom built vivarium and background for awhile now and need a more efficient tank. I have two gray tree frogs, two common toads, one gold tree frog, and one glue salamander (can't remember their common name) so I need a nice combo of land and height.

Not many people building those here honestly. Exo-terras are pretty prevalent on craigslist, but If you get a nice glass top, a glass aquarium will do the job just fine and give you more room for water and substrate as opposed to just 4-5 inches.

Re: Amphibian viv build?

Thanks for the reply, I would like to get an exoterra or something of the like for Christmas or something. I just thought others would have thoughts on materials to use for a build. As far as normal aquariums go they are difficult to work around with only the top opening.
