BCIs + Perches

So.. Just to see what they would do, I installed two perches in each of my BCI's enclosures. Both of 'em are just loving it so far! If it wasn't 1:54 AM, I'd take more pictures. I basically took the straight bottom pieces of hangers and used a small torch to melt them into the tubs. They're sturdy enough for now.

Re: BCIs + Perches

I have seen many BCI's utilize a perch or branch as apposed to staying at the bottom of their enclosure.

Thats not a bad lookin setup you have there. Cages look a bit bland, but I like the white shelving. Seems easy to work with

Re: BCIs + Perches

I like the simplicity of your set ups. Meets all their needs but easy to maintain.

Thanks The only thing they need right now is paper towels or newspaper. Haven't really had time to stop anywhere and get some

I think you are right.
You should add another one Eric. One on the warm side one on the cool side so your snake does not have to choose between temperature and security.
Good eye Kevin.

Good eye Kevin.
The little red things are hides and what just appeal to be some random black object on the other side is a hide. Trying to replace the red ones, though. They're not heavy enough.

Re: BCIs + Perches

That is a pretty cool hide. Doesn't look like one from far away.
