Rat Measuring?

I've been looking around the forums to see if their were people asking for rodents online and there were a few people talking about Layne Labs. I went to check out their homepage and it looks like a cool place to buy rodents especially now that I want to start feeding my ball python rats. But the thing is, is that I don't really get their measuring, do they measure from nose to butt or from nose to tail? I don't want to order rats and I'm thinking that they are 5 inches long from nose to butt and it turns out that they are 5 inches long from nose to the tip of the tail. If anyone can answer this it would be awesome.

Here is the link to Layne Labs, I think it's a really cool place and the prices are rather reasonable. Snake Food, Reptile Food, Feed Carnivores, Birds of Prey : Layne Labs.com
