Re: smooth Green

I've hoped for years to see or catch one but it hasn't happened yet. You're so lucky! Great pics.

I've been looking for these for 30 years and I've never seen one. I live in Ontario too. So far I've only seen garters, ribbons, dekays, redbellies, milks and ringneck.

Re: smooth Green

Thank you all for your nice comments we actually found 2 more this year 1 in August and one in september here are the pics

For those looking for smooth greens just never give up. The first one i seen was when i was about 12 years old then nothing then all of sudden 3 in 2013. You just have to keep looking and have a little bit of luck

They are truly one of the harder snakes to find in pa. They are not very common and the color pattern and habitat they live in makes it that much harder to find. If i was you i'd try open fields the spring time

sadly no.

i dream of dirt roads and big fields, a place where i can look out the back window and see deer.

if i came into alot of money, i swear; i'd get out of the city, and move far away to a small town where everyone knows eachother.

see, i live around philly.

i went for vacation up to wayne county, pa. and my fiance and i went to a little town, walked around and went to the cute little shops and what not. multiple people on the street actually said hi to us, and asked us how we were.

it was like night and day.
