Mushroom in Tank?

So, as some of you may know I have a natural viv for my CRB. In one of my plants there's a single mushroom. It's tan, kinda has a darkened nipple. The underneath is pale. It looks like the ones that grow outside here. What are your guys' thoughts on this?

In one of the plants?

If it's growing in the soil or on a dead stick, then it just means there's decomposition going on in the viv and moisture available. It won't hurt the snake any, nor is it hurting the plants. However it could be an indicator that there is too much moisture for the plants you have causing the roots to rot.

If it is growing in a live plant, as in arising from a leaf, then it's a problem for the plant.

Sorry I wasn't very clear on that, I tend to leave things out :/ ...its a creeping plant. I have a small patch of moss sitting next to it so its not very high light, now that I look I realize it popped up through the moss.

Alright, thank you! I wasn't too concerned about it and I thought it looked cool, makes it look even more natural, but I just thought I should make sure

As long as you've got good drainage in the soil I wouldn't worry about it.

Pull it. They can release billions/trillions of spores and in an enclosed space may cause respiratory issues. More pictures showing the cap, stem, gills, up close and possibly cross section cuts would be cool. Also if the veil (if present) has already already ruptured it's already released more than enough spores to germinate hyphae and create the mycelium to keep your bioactive substrate going.

When I work with oyster mushrooms, pleurotus ostreatus, I wear a P-100 mask, so I don't develop lung issues from the spores released. Serious respiratory issues have risen from people exposed to the dense spores.
