Caramel Tessara progression ...

Just received him today and he is so stinking cute! Still working on a name for him.

First bunch of pictures are courtesy of South Platte Serpents.

Re: Caramel Tessara progression ...

Thanks! I really like him, hope he stays a Caramel, the breeder was only about 90% sure that's what he is and not a normal but it's difficult to tell until he colors up a bit more. But I'll be happy either way.

Re: Caramel Tessara progression ...

Incredible! The colors are so insane that I thought it was a fancy garter snake at first. Any pictures of the parents?

Re: Caramel Tessara progression ...

No, sorry I don't have pictures of the parents. I was told there is a 50% chance that he could be a super Tess, so both his parents had to be Tessera too. I'll be very jazzed if that proves out! Tessera is a dominate pattern mutation gene but doesn't seem to have a different super form like a lot of the BP genes, with their blue eyed Lucy forms and stuff. It just makes the look more.

Re: Caramel Tessara progression ...

Heh, just realized I've been misspelling Tessera almost all day yesterday because my spell check has gotten it into its little electronic brain that that's how it should be spelled. Nice! It's two Es, not two As.
